Our most trusted leaders, and their crew

Pirates do not trust authority, therefore, there is no reason for one man to have all the power. This is a democracy, after all. 

Pirate Lord

 

A guiding force in the fleet, the Pirate Lord is a voted official that advises the Captains regarding promotions, fleet decisions, and hard-pressed issues. He is the leader of the Captains. 

Captain

 

Our Captains do not command with iron fists. They earn their command through skills, daring qualities, and their abilities to win prize and booty. They are respected among their crew, as they deserve to be.

Quartermaster

 

As the Captain's trusted second-in-command, our Quartermasters lead the way on all boarding parties, and are in charge of carrying their Captain's orders.

Fleet Counselor

 

Oversees all the administrative needs of the fleet, as well as the needs of each and every crew member and officers.

Vested SailoR Specialties

 

  • Powder Monkey - exceptionally skilled at player-to-player combat, specializing in getting our powder kegs from our ship to the depth of the enemy vessel. These bloodthirsty crewmen are known for creating chaos among the enemy crew.

  • Helmsman - a skilled sailor at working the helm on galleons, as well as navigating and plotting the most efficient course for the crew's voyages. These magnetic sailors are known for being able to squeeze a galleon through the tightest of spots.

  • Gunner - specializes in ship-to-ship combat and being able to balance between keeping the ship afloat and putting shots into an enemy vessel. These trigger-happy sailors are known for always hitting their target.

  • Boatswain or Bo'sun - these sailors are exceptional for handling the sails, repairing the boat, and aiding in overall ship support. These veterans of the seas are known for never letting our fleet ships sink.

Deckhand

 

Perhaps the most important rank of all, our deckhands set the sails, take the helm, navigate the seas, and fire the cannons, all at their Captain's commands. They are the backbone of the ship. 

Swabbies

 

Newly joined members that have not been vetted into becoming crewmen. They sail with one of the Captains, or even the Pirate Lord himself, to prove their skills and abilities.  

Prince/Princess of Nassau

 

Our officials who have served their time, and chose to retire simply to enjoy the game within our fleet. 

The Godfathers are the founding fathers of the fleet that are retired.
